5. A candidate statement of up to 500 words in length (optional); Hello Wikimedians, I’m currently one of the board members of Cascadia Wikimedians as well as the Executive Director, and I would like to continue to serve.

We've had a good year. We participated in events ranging from a series of editathons at the University of Washington Research Commons, to a workshop at Oregon Health and Science University, to a very well-attended editathon at the Wing Luke Museum. We self-assembled our first board, have our first grant support for programs in 2015 and 2016, and we have been well represented at Wikimedia conferences ranging from Berlin to Mexico City. Looking into 2016, we will continue to nurture and grow our organizational partnerships, and we plan to expand the range of participants in the Wikimedia community here in Cascadia. I hope to continue with you on this journey in 2016. Thank you for your support and participation.
